Experience Through Their Eyes

When I tell you this was some of the best food I have had in a long time, I am not kidding! The Smokey Burger was fantastic and huge! The bacon was perfectly crispy. I am not usually a crispy bacon fan, but their bacon changed my mind. The onion rings were perfectly crisp and the batter was neither too sweet or too salty. It was a perfect balance. It is definitely a family friendly place with great service. I highly recommend!

Chow Hall is a lovely Mom and Pop diner known for its dedication to military and veterans- although anyone would feel welcome here. My son was home on leave from the Navy after a 10-month deployment to the Red Sea. The owner of Chow Hall is retired Navy and came out to talk with us (mostly my son ) for quite awhile. He and our server made our experience very memorable. The food was equally memorable. I had chili fries; the chili was homemade and very good quality. I appreciated the fact that the fries didn't get soggy under the chili which can easily happen. My son had the bologna sandwich and onion rings. My husband had grilled cheese with bacon. Granted, the food is served on paper plates and there is plasticware, but this place isn't a fancy restaurant and makes no effort to portray itself as such. It is a down-home, feel-good local establishment, well-known by locals who continue returning for the friendly service and hearty, home-cooked food. My husband has been a regular for years with his friends. Highly recommend!

We had our first visit last week and we were plesently surprised. We tried the cheese burgers and had sides of onion rings and fries. We enjoyed the food and took a few minutes to look over their memorabilia. We will definitely be back

Sarah and her brother keep it friendly and simple. In a time of great complexity in life, this is back to the basics of friendly service and simply good food.

Fri Feb 21, 2025 It's a small mom and pop diner (local). Not busy nor crowded. Today I decided to have the chicken tender sandwich with fries and sweet tea with lemon. I took pictures of the menu. It's the same one as 2 years with only a $1 increase. Two years ago I came here for a meal and left full and satisfied. I had the grilled salad with chicken but it was too much for me so I brought a doggy bag home, lol... The people working here made me feel welcomed. Will be coming back.
